What's Trending
The supplements and wellness topics everyone is talking about right now.
How We Cover Wellness Trends
Something gets called a miracle ingredient every few months — sea moss, NAD+, lion's mane, mushroom coffee, GLP-1 stacks, creatine for women. Some of those trends are backed by emerging research that's genuinely worth knowing about. Others are repackaged claims from a decade ago. Most sit somewhere in the middle.
What's Trending is where we cover those topics while they're still developing. Each post sorts an ingredient or stack into one of three buckets: validated (multiple human trials), preliminary (animal studies, small human pilots, or strong mechanistic theory), or hype (marketing ahead of the science). We're upfront about which bucket a topic is in at the time of writing — and we update posts when the evidence base shifts.
This series exists because waiting for definitive evidence on every new ingredient would mean ignoring real consumer questions. Skepticism without dismissiveness is the goal: tell you what's known, what's not yet known, who the early research applies to, and what would change our assessment.
